Solution

Work plan Preparation

1. Title

As per the selected case study, the client's name is Billy.

2. The Issues

In the context of diversity and inclusion, it is believed that everyone has the fair right to gain a chance to participate without any discrimination. Additionally, this discrimination may not come for specific physical or social aspects as it can be different. The chosen case study for University Assignment Help makes me realize that my client Billy is an excellent student and if given a fair chance then can be a successful person. His physical state of autism spectrum disorder limited his social communication and cognition. According to Disability Discrimination Act of Australia stands for protecting individuals with disability by preventing discrimination in the workplace (Spectrum, 2024). However, it is completely an individual preference to disclose health conditions or not. I think Billy needs to work on personal comfort so that health state disclosure can earn him a chance at future employment.

3. The Research

Based on the case scenario Billy is suffering from autism spectrum disorder that impacts his ability to social connection and cognition. His mental functionality issues and workplace atmosphere trigger his nervousness. In this context, detailed research on autism spectrum disorder informs that its impact on becoming unable to engage in communication, social cognition, and even simple eye contact makes them uncomfortable (Cherry, 2021). This case demands a ways strategy for social care support for Billy so that he can improve social interaction. On the other hand, workplace managers need to be aware of people's vulnerability and arrange a space where people with different disabilities can participate.

4. Aims

My aim in working with my client is to promote a safer workplace for him so that he can receive career-building opportunities. Advising him to get help from the social care setting so that he can become aware of his protection strength.

5. Plan of Action

My plan is to make my client recognize the options he has for building up his career by obtaining employment. As per Rasheed (2023), at present the Australian Government through initiatives like Disability Employment Services is launched to make people protected. The functional support offered through this program includes job training, workplace modification, and ongoing workplace support. I will guide my client to search for a better workplace where people treat him like others and respect his vulnerability. This planning of diversity and inclusion creates a flow for making Billy confident about his need for employment.

6. Conclusion

My recommendation for community workers and counselors for working with disabled people is to be welcoming. Though their ability of social interaction may be poor, that cannot be a parameter to judge their working strength. Just like my client Billy though he was an excellent student his health issues kept him unemployed and even impacted his social life. As responsible human beings in Australia, we need to work with all kinds of people so that under disability protection act the workplace also becomes safer.
